I hope you do not have many MPLABX version installed. Normaly they shouls co-exist but could also mess up things. Better be safe and uninstall all other version except 5.35 that works with the latest...
i like to connect some critical or dangerous hardware to one of those pins, like the enable pin for the high power laser or the step input for the Z axis.
that way you really know when reprograming...
I connect the ICSP port on the PCB to the ICSP pins of the controller directly. The Pins in turn go to the rest of your circuitry via resistors so that you do not need programming jumpers to perform...
Yup, confirmed. I removed headers from BOM and CPL and those 2 fees went away, as well as an extra $3 or so for cost of headers about $13 + tax reduction).

It's almost Olympics time... so here's a topical program using PBP exclusively (no embedded Assembler) to give you a Stop-Watch with 1/100th Second Timing (yes that's 0.01 of a Second) and gives you REAL-TIME display on your LCD. Now you can do your own timing and challenge the official time...
The program demonstrates using TMR1 in BACKGROUND (multi-tasking), uses PICBasic Interrupts, and accounts for the fact that PICBasic doesn't respond to those Interrupts immediately. There's also a set-Up CALIBRATION menu item, so you can adjust and calibrate your timer to an accuracy of 360mS per Hour.
How does it do all that? Better download the PDF and find out...
