Thanks for the links :)
So then,
Since PBP doesn't seem to go on for newer PICs,
9647
...what are the options?
Is there any "new" BASIC compiler out there that will take over from PBP?
Richard, this is your exact code (no changes at all) and it lights the LED steady ON:
' PIC 16F18446
#CONFIG
__config _CONFIG1, _FEXTOSC_OFF & _RSTOSC_HFINT1 & _CLKOUTEN_OFF & _CSWEN_ON &...
Hum....its now obvious that I didn't read the DS first :o
Thanks a lot for your time and patience for dreamers like me.
Okay, let's go to page 536 then....
PS: I forgot to mention that...
Still going ahead with the PIC16F18446...
I'm testing the 12 bits ADC.
First, I had to find out the correspondance between Pin and Channel (I'm using a 20-pin device). Here it is:

Richard,
Sorry for my late reply.
First or upper code in your previous message dosen't work. The LED is steady ON and no warning message.
Lower or second code doesn't work either; no LED...
Who wouldn't? :D
At this point, it's just about blinking that LED.
But after that, how will I be able to avoid any such kind of "mistakes"?
Please, please don't answer "Easy! Just rfm!!!"

Hi there,
I'm playing around the 16F18446.
I just noticed the following:
9617
I have used 73 words.
What did I miss here?
In fact, I got a quick reply from MECANIQUE - unfortunately I didn't see their email because it landed in my spam folder (...)
Here is the info:
Guess what: it's blinking now!
Thanks a lot (again).
Yes, I had to replace // by '
Hi there,
Did anyone already make a "blinker" for 16F18446? Mine won't work at all
This device supports PPS (Peripheral Pin Select Module) and I this is new to me. Is there any...
Got it now!
Thanks a lot
Hi there,
From time to time, I see new PICs showing up, PICs that would just do the thing I need at the moment.
I'm week-end hobbyist and MCS user and there is an apparently fixed list of...
Thanks Ioannis and sorry for the late reply,
So, if I would connect GND to the "-" input and measure i.e. a + signal from 0 to 5 Volts, I should have as 12 bits result, right?
This is...
...and that means what exactly please?
Okay then, didn't see that one 😵
So I'll get a 12 bits "value" and the last bit will indicate either "+" or "-", right?
Really?
9582
I don't get it :frown:
Hi there,
I'm trying to read a 13 bits MCP3301 A/D converter who's output value should go from 0 to 8191.
Unfortunately, even if I can read something, it looks to be only the "upper half" of...
Just received the "new" modules and guess what?
9561
These are the ones I have now.
9562
I just realized I was using the flasher version 3.9.5 from the beginning.....
I found version 2.3 and guess what, all my modules are now updated successfully and I can check this via AT commands...
Okay, thanks to amgen, I finally successfully flashed my module.
But, still nothing works and sending AT+GMR will return...nothing at all.
Maybe my three modules are just defect...
I think...
Thanks a lot Amgen, I'll give it a try tonight.
Until then, just a question about your addresses: are these really correct?
9536
...or does it just doesn't make any change if they have one...
BTW, ESPRESSIF seem to have a firmware, the ESP-WROOM-02 Series that should fit the ESP8266 according.
...
Amgen,
Would you please share the firmware you've installed?
I tried so many that didn't work....
