    Try adding a
    PAUSE 2000
    before
    Powerup:

    Sometimes it takes a bit for the screen to initialize.

    startup:
    Pause 5000

    All it did was piss off my serial display.

    I notice I'm at 1959k, quite near the page boundary, could this be a factor
    Also, I'm using the internal oscillator.
