Spi Max6675

Hi Everybody,
I would like to use a PIC to read four MAX6675 and display the temperatures on a LCD display. Has anyone done something similar to this before? I have done some microcontroller stuff using an OOPic but it lacks the speed and program space to do what I would like. Any examples would be greatly appreciated.
