I (almost) always use the preview post function before submitting the post but the format of the preview is not the same as that of the "published" post (great preview) so it's easy to miss things.

And, the need for a random question to determine the poster's species seems superfluous for test posts. It's a real PITA. Surely, the bots won't flood the board with test posts.
