Hey guys,
Can anyone help me with reading the DS1990A ibutton with a 16F series PIC? I have to do it in C. My compiler is CCS 4.057. I've tried running the code by ogradino found on this link
http://www.picbasic.co.uk/forum/show...ghlight=ds1990 but it returns errors about BYTE,i and data not being valid identifiers.
Perhaps someone can explain how to make ogradino's code work? I'm lost here thank you in advance.

If you don't know that C is different than Basic, major differences in syntax and so on...maybe you've got a bit more homework to do...Quote:

the code on that link is in C. And i think its in CCS compiler format.

I found the full code from the example files in the CCS folder!! They were there all along!!
