HC-05 Bluetooth

I'm trying to interface an HC-05 Bluetooth module with my microcontroller using PicBasic, but it doesn’t seem to respond to AT commands. I’ve double-checked the baud rate and wiring. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

happens frequently.
usual causes :-
the code you did not post is no good.
the device is wired incorrectly. ie not as per the schematic you did not post
the power supply is inadequate.
the device has been damaged by poor handling.

a little elementary and you may already know....... are you using the 'escape sequences?' and, with a usb to serial thingy, you can address the 05 from the serial side

I found out the hard way that not all HC-05 modules work the same. Use the version AT command and look for modules with the latest firmware versions. Try to establish a serial communication first with a serial communication app.
