Here's an interesting one... My old laptop's screen died. I bought a new mini laptop to replace it for travel. I put my registered PBP2.50a onto the new unit along with my Melabs programmer software and Microcode studios. It all runs fine, until I compile. The old computer compiles and gives me 312 words of working code for the 16F628a.
The new one compiles and gives me over 800 words of code. The hex code is different also.Needless to say, the new version does not work. The setup is exactly the same for both computers, for compiler , assembler and editor. Exactly! They are both Windows XP units. I tried running both MPASM assembler and PBP. Any ideas? I'm stumped!
Thanks,
Ron
