You have lots of really inexpensive ( about 20 US$ ) ... Power ( or Energy) meters ( U*I*Pow factor calculating ) on the market : one at the input, one at the output and voilà ...

I got mine from ELV Electronics in Germany.

Worth the sensors + developing time ... no ???

Thanks for your suggestion, but my actual problem is " I'm designing a line conditioning unit using SCR contrl, controled by microcontroller, in this unit I want to display, input voltage, output voltage, output current & system efficiency".
