    Default Infrared Temp Gauge

    Hi all,

i've seen some small infrared temperature gauges that read temperature without contact.
They use an infrared to sense the temperature and display it in a small lcd.

How do these things work ???

    Anyone knows ?

    Thanks
    Rui

Melexis has a nice Pyro IR temp sensor here:

They also have several examples with PIC source code for interfacing to their sensors.

    Bruce, Skimask,

    Thanks guys for the information

    Bruce,

Too bad that just the sensor is as expensive as the complete gauge it self
