The only ones i know are from SonaSwitch(EDP company) and can measure from 6 inches to 10 feet

    MINI-S & MINI-A

    here:http://209.114.244.106/sonaindex.html

    available from digikey website

or have a look at omron website http://oeiweb.omron.com/Products-Proximity1.shtm

Bruce have one model on his site SRF04
    http://www.rentron.com/remote_control/SRF04.htm
this model is suppose to be able to measure 3cm to 3m range. Cheaper than MINI-S and MINI-A.

    hope this will help you

    regards

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
