    Default HELP with LAB-X1 board

I bought the board as a kit, so had to build it from parts. On the schematic they provided there are two resistors with missing values. One is R16 the LCD backlight resistor. The other is R12 used with the RS485 jack.

Can someone take a look at their board and tell me the values for these two resistors?
Also how is the board soldered in? The LCD has 16 solder pads and the board a 14 pin header. Are the two open pads at the top or bottom with the LAB board LCD area in the top left position?

Looking at the datasheet for the LCD it shows a POT 10K-20K I guess I could use a 15K resistor and see what happens. Pins 15 and 16 are A,K which do not appear to be connected.

LCD shipped with the kit does not have a backlight so no need for resistor.
