    Angry 12C509A Serial Problem

    Hi Folks,

    Can these chips send serial (rs232) data?

    My program does'nt compile when I use the serout2 command.

    Any ideas?

    Ok, Ok.. looks like 12-bit Pics don't support serial data (and many other) functions.

    Know of any other 8-pin Pics that do?

    what about if you try DEBUG function...?

    forget about DEBUG, you can use 12Fxxx serie for serial without any problems like 12f629,12F675, 12F683
