    Default For Acetronics

    Hi, Acetronics

In June 2007 you posted some information in reply to a question on frequency counters. In one of your posts you said:-

    links to clones :

    http://www.sixca.com/eng/articles/fc50/index.html

Note their PCB is to re-design ... too close layers in the P.A. section ... I couldn't measure over 7-8 MhZ with their design.

    Got 50+ Mhz with a re-design of PCB ...
I am interested in constructing the counter mentioned in the article but note your comments on layout. Have you some advice about this particular design layout and what do you recommend in order to avoid the pitfalls

    With many thanks

    Adrian

    Hi, Adrian

This one is slightly different from Sixca's ( 2x16 LCD used ) ...

But I'm sure it works really fine !!!: that is the one I use ...

Note the text can be modified to suit your language by un-assembling the program in the prog window of MPLAB ... and manually enter the new text ( some assembler skills required ... )

BUT do not modify the number of characters ...

Why insist on using 32 Bits when you're not even able to deal with the first 8 ones ??? ehhhhhh ...

IF there is the word "Problem" in your question ...
    certainly the answer is " RTFM " or " RTFDataSheet " !!!
