Hyperterminal doesn't have a 9-bit option.
9-bit transmission works with 8-bit reception?

I thought it would show some parity error... seems not. let me check with real software
As stated in the manual...
DEFINE HSER_BITS 9 'Use 9th bit for parity
maybe i need to sleep.
