    Default Programer Error

What would cause the error "Code programming error at 0000" ????

I have the MELabs serial programmer and it only does it when I try to program a specific chip.

    Thanks

Check your connections, and voltage on MCLR pin while programming. Depending how old your programmer is, you may need to do some modifications to. See the MElabs Website.,

Could this also be caused by a not-loaded PGM pin ?

Sure you'll find more info if you dare to search a little bit on this forum click here... at very least, have a look at the following old thread

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
