    Where could I find some links and sample programs on RS485 using any pic processor?

    RS485 is not a special communication protocol. It is way to extend the communication distance of RS232 protocol. For this reason you only need to give the RS232 commands like Serin or Hserin , Hserout or Serout and you add one Chip as Rs232-RS485 converter (I think it is Maxim1485) nothing else.
    I used that system in my projects.
