Tips on designing GUI's ...

1. Stick with neutral colors (unless you know what you're doing)
2. No more than two fonts
3. Plenty of whitespace (don't clutter things)
4. Sensible naming conventions for controls
5. Drop down menu's instead of buttons (where possible)
