Hi all!
I want to regulate brightness of 6 LED at the same time with one PWM modulated output from a PIC 18F1320. What kind of driver can I use? Every LED has about 30mA current consumption.
Very Thanks!,
Francesco

microuser . 1 2n3904 transistor with 1K resistor in series with base and connected to your favorite PIC pin. Transistor Emitter connected to ground. Transistor Collector connected to last cathode of 6 series connected LEDs. 47 Ohm Resistor in series with first Anode connection of LED string connected to 12 volts.

Thanks Dave!
What do you think about a BC517 with LEDS in parallel?
I have to choose the better solution![]()
one or the other will work. It's not as this critical. BC517 is a darlington. 1 AMP Ic... more than enough.

It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
