USB Programmer for 18F4550 PICs

Hi all. I'm looking for a USB programmer to program 18F4550 PICs. I found the following programmer on ebay, but 18F4550 isn't in the list of supported devices. Do you guys think that this will work with an 18F4550 if I use a socket in-between the PIC and the ZIF socket that isolates pins 24, 25 & 26?

Though costly perhaps Bbarney's suggestion appears reasonable . now alternative is to contact the seller on e-bay thro' a querry seeking clarifiction before you buy-

i feel , winpic800 may be suitable to drive the referred programmer.It can drive GTB usb as per the programm. now we have to check whether the hardware are similar-- if so the list of PIC cleared by winpic800 will be valid .
