    Default HSERIN/SERIN Formats

Just wondering if the 2400 baud used by the hardware EUSART is the same as mode 396 in the SERIN verson, DRIVEN, TRUE, NO PARITY.

as far as i'm aware of, 396 is for SERIN2?

Now to set the USART/EUSART you may use the lazy method and use my PicMultiCalc... this will generate the whole DEFINES for you WITH the best error % in few clicks

    Steve,
I really like using PICMuiltiCalc it is a real time saver from having to grab the data sheet to look things up, I routinely use it for the A/D settings and the UART, very useful piece of software.

Thanks Terry, A/D calc is generic, if you really need for speed, you may want to use the datasheet formula for your specific device, unless, life is good.

A/D calc saw the day after Darrel Taylor post a module on another forum... handy handy stuff indeed
