    Default Default target processor

When I open MCSP the default processor on the drop down box is 16F628. Can that be changed to some other processor? I can't find a *.ini file to edit and MCSP is configured to find PBP in the options window. I'm stumped!!

    Thanks for any help

I think I may have found the answer. RTFM!!! Maybe go DOS and set Option -P?? I'll try it and see what happens!!

Back to square 1 - I don't think that sorts the default processor for all new files. HELP!!

In my MCSP folder i have a Default.ini file which looks like....
    16F917
now just change that value and you're in business...

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
