Even while the DSO-2100 is "acclaimed" capable of 100MS/s, it only has a bandwidth of 30MHz. That's DC bandwidth too. Realistically, the bandwidth for measuring say, a sine wave, would be probably much closer to 20MHz. Bitscope Pocket Analyzer's on the other hand can measure sine waves, in some cases beyond 100MHz. With only 25MS/s too! Highly sophisticated software smarts make this possible. The magic's all in the software.
I believe Bitscope to be entirely genuine with these claims. The author strikes me as being more of a scientist than an engineer out to develop something for 50 cents that would cost anyone else $2.
