Even while the DSO-2100 is "acclaimed" capable of 100MS/s, it only has a bandwidth of 30MHz. That's DC bandwidth too. Realistically, the bandwidth for measuring say, a sine wave, would be probably much closer to 20MHz. Bitscope Pocket Analyzer's on the other hand can measure sine waves, in some cases beyond 100MHz. With only 25MS/s too! Highly sophisticated software smarts make this possible. The magic's all in the software.
I believe Bitscope to be entirely genuine with these claims. The author strikes me as being more of a scientist than an engineer out to develop something for 50 cents that would cost anyone else $2.

Hi,
I think that the DSO-2100 is a revamp of an old model with parallel port.
See:
http://freenet-homepage.de/kritikus/...c/dso2100.html
http://www.signal.ru/e/oscilloscope/dso2100.htm
The software of the DSO-2100 USB has a basic interface which is almost
the same interface of the model with parallel port.
The same hardware is sold with different brand names.
I don't think that new software updates will be available in the future.
Best regards,
Luciano
