I have had the parallax usb 'scope for over a year now, and it is a handy little gadget. Santa brought it Christmas before last. Yes it is a little slow, and a 'toy' but I've found myself three or four times no where near a Tektronix, but I had my laptop bag with me, with the USB 'scope in the pocket. It has always shown me what I needed to know, and you can't beat the price.

Looks alright for the money. Very limited though. Some sound cards have a 60KHz bandwidth. You could devise something that's homebuilt and on par for about $50.
