Thanks for the response. Just ordered the PBP upgrade. How about that EasyPic 4, is it as cool as it looks? Is it compatable with my goods? What dev board would you recommend? This Lab-X2 is getting old.
Thanks again for any responses.

you want to know my opinion about if EasyPic 4 worth it's price. The answer is simple
It's probably the best development board around. Look at the price and what you have on-board. Come on. To me nothing beat it. and
It will perfectly fit your goods. Have a look at this recent discussion...

Go Go Go. I suggest you buy the EasyPic 4 Kit. It comes with a GLCD, a 2X16 regular LCD and a DS1820 temp sensor.
PS in the above link, have a look to my suggested Bootloader mod at post 21

Well after scouring the net putting in my Due diligence I've decided on the EASYPIC4 with 2 EasyCONNECT Accessory Boards. (I can see Flash cards, ethernet and CAN control in my future!)
Between these, my software upgrade and 4 new 18f4550 samples, It's off to the races.
All I need now is someone to do my job for me so I can tinker with this stuff all day.
Thanks again for your suggestions Steve.
I'm off to Radio Shaft to see if they have a mosfet.

Good call Joe, no mosfet in sight at Radio Shaft.
I do have the Luxury of a "brick and mortar" store here in Newington Ct. called Cables and Connectors that sells everything you would expect from a Hobby Electronics store.(possibly one of the only ones left in the country)
Prices are very high but for a "One off" quick pickup it's the greatest.
Check it out online!
