It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.

Must try that method. I have had only limited success using the wet string method. I find that it keeps drying out and I need to dunk the circuit in a bucket of water every so often to restore conductivityI'm impressed, using wire work pretty well
