Default Making a PC Keyboard Emulator

I am wondering if it is possible to make a keyboard emulator with the Pic.
I've found some companies on the web who make devices that when plugged into the PC is recognized by the PC as a keyboard, or Joystick, etc.

The devices I've seen look very simple, just one chip (that looks like a PIC) and usb output or serial output.

    Has anyone done this?

    Thanks,
    Tony A

Take a look on the USBMOUSE example in PicBasic Pro.
