And no you didn't break the law as long as you keep it for yourself... That's what i do with my vinyl and CD records here. I do copy them on CD, and i bring them to the nightclub i work. This way, i keep my original copy like brand-new and clean.
CD-R are crap, but cheap. So i don't care when i broke one after hours and hours of use and beer/shooters spilled on
