...one of the tasks i need to is find 5 applications that a PIC is used, i would really preceate if someone could help me out on this, as i am struggling, could someone please tell me some applications and also some web addresses with information on that applications, please help me guys, thanks in advance.

You're in the right place.... take a look through the threads, you'll see hundreds of applications. Not sure why you would need anyone's help with this.

I think the purpose of this exercise is to expose you to the process of Searching, and Locating the necessary information.

Since this is an extremely large part of working with PIC's, you may want to actually try it.
