mass storage device 1 MB Flash device

I need cheap mass storage 1 MB Flash device to read and write to it in SPI
Anyone know so a 8 pin device and have code examples how to read and write to it?

These guys make a serial type board that lets you store data on SD cards AND they have PICBasic Pro software to go with it.
