    Default Pic 3.3v ?

I am running my PIC12F675 at 3.3V which connects to my Bluetooth radio! I want to connect an SPI device powered at 5V to the PIC. I know the PIC's inputs can handle 5V but will this cause any problems that both are running at different voltages?

    Thanks in advance,

    Scott

    Default Top urgent

    Dear team,

This issue is top urgent for me. While I am designing my PCB, I remember that I can't get 1 Amp current from 9 Volt battery. So can any body help me to get 1 Amp from batteries? I was using my breadboard and I forgot this important issue. Please help me.

    Best regards,
    Bakari

Why not using everything at 3.3 Volts?

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.

I wish it were that easy!

I am using an AD7895 A/D to allow measuring -10 to +10 volts. The PIC12F675 will not allow me to measure this range. The AD7895 is 5V powered with an SPI interface. I am going to use the shiftin function to interface with the AD7895.

On the other side of the PIC12F675 I have a Bluetooth radio that is not 5V tolerant. I am trying to eliminate the level shifter between the PIC and Bluetooth radio so I want to run the PIC at 3.3V.

    Thanks for the reply,

    Scott
