    Freebie: http://www.etc.ugal.ro/cchiculita/so...bootloader.htm

Much better version w/extra goodies for PBP::
Will cost a few bucks, but well worth it: http://www.mecanique.co.uk/code-studio/index.html

    Thanks for your replay.
I'm using PBP and MicroCodeStudio, works great with my PIC16F874(A), but I will uppgrade, for more memory, to 16F877A. But I can't find any bootloader for 16F877A in MicroCode folder, where I found the bootloader for 16F874A.

    Thanks
    Håkan

Ps. there is one for PIC16F877, but not for 16F877A

hakan, If you are using a registered copy of MicroCode studio and there is no bootloader hex file for the 16F877A then just drop an email to Mecanique and ask for the hex file you are looking for and your email address. They will need the osc freq you are using.

    Hi!

My version of MicroStudio Plus is 2.2.1.1, after updating. I have not registered my copy, but it's real.

I have emailed Mecanique, but no replay.

    Thanks

    Take a look in

    C:\Program Files\Mecanique\MCSP\MCloader\LoaderHEX

At one time there were individual directories for each PIC which included the 877 but it then changed and all loader files are now in LoaderHEX

hakan, Which version of MicroCode Studio are you running? I have a 16F877A directory in my loader directory with files for 4 Mhz. and 20Mhz.

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
