i've had a look at the links you (Don) sent and they are a little too complex for what i need to do and what i can understand with my very limited basic knowledge of PICs, PIC Basic & DTMF signalling - does anyone out there have a very simple PIC Basic program to receicve the signals from an MT8870D and display them on a simple 7 segment LED display?
