I looked at the 2 methods µchips proposes ( Sleep/ Wake on Interrupt or WR polling ) ...
In fact the two methods are based on the WR bit clearing ... so why would one be better than the other !!!
Writing time is given by the hardware ... no way to increase it !!!
PbP uses the polling method, and I don't see anything hazadous in that the GIE bit is firmly set to 0 ... and I never set it to 1 in that program.
