Unhappy Code Protection with Verify Blues

    Hello Again,

I've never played around with CP code protection before now and have found a strange annoying problem.

If you protect your code, then after programming your pic, you can't verify a correct programming!! What a Croc@#!

    Anyone else come across this?
    Cheers
    J

Squibcakes , What do you think code protect does? You are trying to read the programmed code after it is flashed......

Your programming software should verify the programmed code BEFORE burning the Configuration Fuses (which is the final step in the chip programming cycle).
