Sorry if this post is going over ground already covered. I am starting using Picbasic and am looking for a programmer but am getting confused with all the different types out there.

I have a chance to get a Velleman K8048 kit and was wondering if this is compatible with picbasic ? If not can anyone suggest a programmer ?
