Default Anyone worked with CDMA cell phones?

I just got one of those new LG 9800s from Verzion and I thinking about interfacing a microchip to the phone. I have seen how to do this with a GSM phone through the use of AT commands, but nothing on CDMA phone.

Does anyone have any experience sending AT commands over rs232 to a CDMA phone? In particular I am trying to see if it is possible to send a Flash SMS message.

I can handle the rs232 part, its the CDMA command structure that I need help with.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

CDMA,GSM basicly different ways that the handset and base station communicate. To send a SMS you are only communicating between the PIc and the handset so it should not ake any difference between GSM and CDMA. The only difference will be between handset makes and models. ie nokia, ericsson, kyocera, etc. Check the manufactures website to see if they have the AT command set for your phone.
