    Default Freqin??

Hi again all, and a very Happy New Year to everyone.

My current problem is how do get a "freqin" type command working. I have a situation where I need to wait for 5 seconds and somewhere during that time I need to detect a 1200Hz tone, duration 100mS and then 1400Hz, duration 100 mS. Once detected, branch off and do other stuff, or if not detected at all, branch as well.
I have been experimenting and am getting nowhere. Second choice, does anyone know of a compiler, other than PBP (for pics) that does have this type of command?
    Thanks, in advance.

I could if I used a couple of LM567 tone decoder chips, but I would prefer to use software.

Question Cum on and feel the noize ...

    Hi, Muddy

What do your input look like ?

No noise or signal on the line, and just 1200 and 1400 Hz when needed ???

    or 1200 and 1400 Hz lost in a " white noise " ???

That will decide how to do it ...

Why insist on using 32 Bits when you're not even able to deal with the first 8 ones ??? ehhhhhh ...

IF there is the word "Problem" in your question ...
    certainly the answer is " RTFM " or " RTFDataSheet " !!!

I would have to say Very clean. Any noise would certainly be "down among the noise" to coin a phrase (LOL).
