    Default HDMI wall projector "interface"

    Hi All,

I'm finishing a wall clock using SW2812B NeoPixels strings. The digits are 15cm high and it works fine.

But I'm looking for something I could display on much bigger (isn't bigger always better? )

Goggeling around, I found some projector like this one:
    Name: Projector.jpg
Views: 190
Size: 20.2 KB

Does anyone have an idea how one would be able to display something coming from a PIC, serial output or so, on this kind of projector?

I imagine there would be a need for an app running on the projector receiving data and converting it an image, right?

Or is it simply not feasable?

i would look in the arduino forum to see if anybody has published a hack into one them , you might get lucky
my guess is that the heart of the machine is probably a translucent tft screen of some type.
if you can hack it with an arduino then a pic could probably do it too. not video but still or slow graphics is not out of scope
