    Default Fuse Error

IDE: using microcode studio 2.3.0 (shareware version)
Programmer: K182A USB ICSP programmer (with MicroPro user interface)
    PIC18F452 DIP package
    OSC: 4mhz crystal

i keep getting fuse errors when trying to program the chip and not sure if its a fault with the programmer (micropro), picbasic, or 'user' error .

FUSE settings are made through micropro (is there a way to set ALL the fuse settings in picbasic?)

all default fuse settings except oscillator type (to XT), watchdog timer disabled, and low voltage program disabled.

I can't think of any other info i've left out or if anyone here uses a similar setup, but if you can help, please let me know.

I'm also very interested in setting the fuses (other than oscillator) with picbasic but dont see it anywhere in the manual on how to do that.

    TIA!
    Glenn

    It's not a bug, it's a random feature.
There's no problem, only learning opportunities.
