PBP 2.44 does not solve the problem.

If you use the DATA statement as described in my first post in this thread you will get the result described there.

I have read somewhere that PBP 2.44 was supposed to take care of this problem but it does not really,
at least not on 18Fxx2 which require the use of MPASM.

Am I really the only one who is trying to migrate from 16F87x to 18Fxx2 and having problems?

The 18F series appear not to be the favorite PICs on this forum, I'm not getting much response to my questions.
