I suspect they will say the life expectancy is only 3years or something like that. I found articles and presentations online stating the failure mechanisms of OLEDs as hygro thermal failures of the ITO coating.

If it is the same manufacturing procedure on all OLEDs then your findings will make a lot of people cry...

I am usually 2 gens behind regarding tech devices and have not regretted so far.

But in any case, I have to say that it is an impressive new technology on displaying devices.
