Default Any physically large, 64 pin PIC16 or PIC18 chips available?

    Hello.
Atmega's are available in 14x14mm 64 TQFP packaging, that is quite easy to solder, but all PIC16/18 I've found so far, in TQFP64, are in 10x10mm packaging, with very thin legs, which makes soldering quite difficult. So seeking for largest 64 pin PIC chip?

Microchip is releasing quite a few of their newer chips on Nano Curiosity Boards. These put tiny MCUs on a board with pin taps around the outside edges. This is great for creating one-off projects, or developing, but would be cost prohibitive for large volume production. The PIC18F67K40 might come in a Nano package.

Another option would be Plug-In Modules (PIM for short). Quick search turned up one for the PIC18F67K40 from Mikroe.

Thanks, I need IC for direct PCB mounting.
So have to split tasks between two TQFP-44 chips then...
