    Default PIC16F687 - supported?

    Hi,

I've had a look round the site and done a search in here but I can't find if the 16F687 is supported. The text on PBP says it supports all MCU's but I cannot find it in the list.

I'm trying to make my mind up on whether to get PBP for use in a new project, but I also want the low pin count with PWM, A/D, SPI and UART - hence the question about the 16F687 family.

    Thanks,

    Rod

PICBASIC PRO™ Compiler now supports ALL Microchip PICmicro® MCU families! - http://www.melabs.com/products/pbp.htm
It says families, not all of the MCU's in each family. Unfortunately it doesn't appear that the 16F687 is in the supported list. What about the 16F88? Do you really need all of those features in one micro for your project?

    Hi,

Thanks for the confirmation; looks like it will be the 16F737 (or similar) or not with PBP!
