Im setting up PBP and MPLAB on an older laptop windows 7 home edition Im getting error ERROR: Unable to execute mpasmwin.Error[118] Im not sure where to start ?

Hi,

Are you using an IDE like MicroCodeStudio or are you compiling from the commandline?
If you're using MicroCodeStudio have you pointed it to the location where MPLAB is installed?

What version of PBP? What version of MPLAB?

I'm using windows 7 home edition PB pro 2.60a and Mplab 8.53.
I'm thinking its a path problem but I have never used windows 7 so not sure how to set it and what to set, still using xp pro on my pc

I have read to go to my computer but I don't have that on my screen

using a pickit 3 also the pickit will not power the board

Is there any wiki or technical manual for PBP? I have error [113] C:\pbp\pbppic18.lib931:symbol not previoulsy defined (Regin)
plus a host of similar but with different numbers after the lib and (Bitin) at the end...

I'm moddifying some existing code but not changing any of the include files etc.

Running 2.60c, MCS 4.0, MPSAM 5.06 (all works fine with tests on other code)
