    Default I should have known better...

    Well, being appropriately contrite and with my head hung in shame, I'm downloading the trial of PBP and the IDE. I should have tried PBP first...

    I have a project that involves a PIC18F2580, DTMF, button and timer interrupts, 4x20 LCD and 2 I2C EEPROMs and I'm hoping that PBP will be up to the task.

    I'm sure I'll be here with questions and advice and I've been most impressed with your forum and the help people on it receive.

    Try going to compilespot.com They allow 900 bytes of code (which will cover a lot of different things if you keep variable names short, and other stuff.
