    Default PBasicForum Special Google Page

Here is what I get from Google:
    GoogleSorry...
    We're sorry...

... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

See Google Help for more information.

    Anyone else getting this ?
    Anyone know what's up ?

I suspect the flaw (or redirection) is on Google's end. Darrel's Special Search was not being found for the past few weeks from here (Cincinnati). I haven't tried the one in the referenced thread out of concern that it may be infesting my machine with unspeakable afflictions. I had Darrel's original link bookmarked - it's still broken.

    Sorry about that.
But unless I pay Google $100/yr, it only allows so many searches per month.

The other "Custom Search" on that page is still working, it seems to get less traffic.
Not sure why because i spent much more time refining that search, and I think it works much better.

You can also find that one here ... http://dt.cambs.net

Ok, Thank You, it didn't occur to me that it costs actual money (as opposed to virtual money?) to do that, I will change out all the computers I have enabled to use that page to a standard Google except the 1 I use to do PBP projects in, and that one will probably get the other one you referenced. I always thought the adverts covered the cost. If you pass the collection plate, I am willing to ante' up.

On the first search tool at "A better Search tool for the Forum" page, it gives me this:

    Name: google.png
Views: 324
Size: 25.1 KB

The second as reffered by all the others.

From Darrel's site http://dt.cambs.net looks OK.

Moderators and Administrators will get that error and cannot use that page.
Vbulletin's in-line moderator form interferes with the search form.

Normal users don't have the problem.
If you log out and try the page, it'll work.

    http://dt.cambs.net doesn't have that issue.

Edit: I just tried to make a change and messed it all up.
