unable to program

hi,
this topic is been discussed earlier but it didnt solve my problem so i am posting it again
i am using PIC18F452 and tinybld to prgm it and i am getting this error in tinybld window
Connected to \\.\COM1 at 9600
HEX: 1 hours old, INHX32,18Fcode+cfg, total=62 bytes.
Searching for PIC ...
pic sending unknown data: "K" <> F8h=ø
Check baudrate & Start Write while PIC is not sending serial data (e.g. in reset)
ERROR!
I pressed the reset button and released it immediately after hitting the "WRITE FLASH" button .but still its not working
plz help
