any sugestions on preferably an 18 pin led driver, with higher curent restraints thn 16f84? perhaps to run a lil transistor matrix of 16f84 or f88 might be easier eh

There's no such thing as a 20MHz INTERNAL OSCILLATOR. You will need an external xtal or resonator for that speed.

yeh i was confused, kept reading spec sheets, and thinking there WAS 20 mhz internal, only to find out it doesnt exzist, that what i was reading to say internal 20 mhz, was infact 8 mhz, at best, question was posted on *2* boards, as i posted one, waited got no answer and had an order going to ship, and needed to know asap, i dont quite understand acetronics post here, but melanie ty vm, i dont kinow how i over looked where it said internal 8 mhz up to 20 mhz ext, but i woulda been quite unhappy if i had spent all my part $ on chips i thought iliminated xtrnl xtals, landed up geting only 6 chips, and 8 resanators, AND was able to identify 4 8 and 20 mhz chips threw various tips on both boards, both offerd invaluable info, to aid me in making my first chip / parts order, fyi the problem wasnt the cost of chips but rather shiping, so it came down to one chance to get it right, and i relized i messed up after i made the original order, leaving me 8 hrs to rectify it b4 it shiped,
thnx again for all the usefull replies, every thing worked out because of it
